Suits LA will be launched on February 23, 2025, as NBC Network’s rebrand of the ever-popular Suits Series that played on the network for nine series. The series expressed the excitement of a high-profile law firm and the politics, relationships, power, and money that went with it. The series centered around Harvey Specter, who played the top gun lawyer, the man you called when you needed results, and his mentor, Mike Ross, who would break the rules when necessary, and this many times led to controversy. In 2023, the reruns of Suits on Netflix was one of the highest-viewed shows, with over 57 Billion minutes of viewing in the United States alone, not to mention its success worldwide.
The new show will move the show location from New York to Los Angeles. A new, ambitious group of young lawyers seek success and make a name while taking care of the West Coast premium clients — the show centers around Ted Black, played by Stephen Amell. Ted is one of the founders of the Black Lane Firm. He is intelligent, shrewd, arrogant, manipulative, and sometimes outrageous. A former prosecutor, Stuart Lane founded the firm with Ted and is driven to shape the LA legal scene. Josh McDermitt plays Stuart. Their Proteges are Erica Rollins, played by Lex Scott Davis, and Rick Dobson, played by Bryan Greenberg. Both are seen as rising stars.
