The couple embarks on a climb of the Troll Wall in Norway, located in Reinheimen National Park. The Troll Wall is the highest vertical wall in Europe. The couple is climbing in a way that supports and protects each other, and everything is going well until they are caught in a storm and Tommy is hit by a boulder. Physically unable to maintain, she cuts his cord, and he falls to his death. Several months pass, and Sasha decides to venture back out and climb both as a memorial and a challenge to herself. She embarks on this adventure at Wandarrah National Park, There she talks to a Ranger, and he tells her about missing persons and that it’s best not to explore or climb alone. She is courteous and respectful, yet driven. She is also harassed by a group of hunters while at a tourist station. She engages with a local guy named Ben. He seems nice, he makes his own jerky sticks and sells them to merchants. She is cautious still and sleeps in her van because of the hunters. The next morning, she kayaks and then sets up camp for the night. She wakes to find her backpack missing. She wanders onto Ben’s camping location, and he offers her breakfast and additional supplies. However, she realized he had stolen her bag. Ben is then sporting a crossbow and boombox and lets her know she has until the song is completed. Then he takes shots at her. Her nightmare has started, and he pursues her through rapids and wooded trails, she tries to keep one step ahead of him and survive.
