June 30: Soul Pocket
The Soul Pocket Band has been performing in the Cincinnati area for over 15 years with a high energy mix of Soul, Motown, R&B, Rock, and Funk. They are Cincinnati’s favorite party and night club band. Soul Pocket is known for its sparkling performances, lots of dancing, and a touch of musical theater.
July 7: Swan
Swan plays a crowd pleasing mixture of current and classic rock and dance rock songs. Medleys of tunes are strung together to keep the dance floor packed to songs you can’t believe you’re hearing from just three guys. Superb vocal harmonies and musicianship – all while having a great time together onstage – this is a band to be seen live!
July 14: StrangeLove
StrangeLove, simply put, thrills the masses of Cincinnati with incredible live performances of Popular Funk, Soul, and Rock & Roll tunes. Four men with at least one machine apiece operating in pitch-perfect harmony. One beautiful lead singer who can wail. All performed with the breathtaking showmanship that said music deserves.
July 21: The Dan Varner Band
Breaking on to the Cincinnati music scene over seven years ago, CMA Recording Artist Singer/Songwriter Dan Varner has built a reputation as one of the most talented, hard-working and original country performers to hit the area in quite some time.
July 28: Shut Up & Drive
Shut Up & Drive specializes in Hard Rock and Blues and includes three original members of the Young Invaders, winners of the Inaugural MTV Basements Tapes contest! If you like Led Zeppelin, the Who, Queen, and Joe Bonamassa, you need to see this band!
August 4: Naked Karate Girls
Naked Karate Girls is a Las Vegas style national touring party cover band. United by 3-piece suits, Schlitz beer and a mastery of mustache grooming skills, NKG has come together to form the ultimate undercover party force. Afraid to dance? Fuggedaboudit. They make you shake like a love machine with funny choreography, props and outfits that encourage everyone in the audience to participate.
August 11: Glory Days
For the last 14 years, the Glory Days band has been playing an energetic mix of your favorite rock and roll tunes. From classics by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Journey, Springsteen and Pink Floyd to more current offerings from Santana, Dave Mathews and Mumford and Sons, Glory Days will have you on your feet dancing the night away. And with four part harmonies on almost all their songs, you’ll find yourself singing along to the greatest hits!
August 18: The Sunburners
Cincinnati’s favorite island party band!
