Spend the afternoon with acclaimed vocalist Mandy Gaines. Known for her soulful vocals and improvisational gifts, Gaines has been singing professionally since 1988 with dozens of jazz’s biggest names, including Wynton Marsalis and Randy Brecker. Her fresh interpretations of jazz, soul, and pop classics have delighted audiences around the globe and are guaranteed to make you smile.

2017 Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Fame inductee Marc Fields will bring his quartet to the Taft for an afternoon mix of original music and well-known classics. His performances are always memorable because his energy betrays his obvious love of the music. The Marc Fields Quartet features Dan Karlsberg, Jim Anderson, and Art Gore.
Sunday, October 1, 2:30 p.m. | Fall Jazz: Rob Allgeyer Trio featuring saxophonist Ron Jones
Hear pianist Rob Allgeyer tickle the ivories with a special trio featuring saxophonist Ron Jones, one of the preeminent saxophonists in the Midwest. Allgeyer comes from a long line of professional musicians, and for over twenty years has performed extensively as both a sideman and leader of his own ensembles.
