The all-day festival will celebrate the Art, Experience and Beer 3 Points Urban Brewery focused on throughout its first year of operations. Beginning in late May, local artist Jenny Ustick will be working on a community mural on the brewery’s west wall. Guests will then be able to paint with Jenny during Three Fest, filling in lines and areas with their own strokes. In addition to the mural painting, artists will be commissioned to complete unique pieces of art reflective of their style on 8’ x 8’ wood boards. Artists will paint outside the brewery, allowing people walk through and see the art created live. The boards will then be displayed inside Bolivar Alley, extending the ArtWorks New Lines Project in Pendleton.
The neighborhood brewery has also invited guest taps for beer releases throughout the day. Breweries from outside the city of Cincinnati, including Little Fish Brewing Company and Wolf’s Ridge Brewing, will cycle through the taps alongside 3 Points Urban Brewery’s 12 rotational beers. The brewery will also be releasing a special Double IPA of its most popular beer, Origami. Additional guest tap beers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Attendees will have a chance to grab takeaway items throughout Three Fest. Limited edition anniversary glassware featuring the art from Birdseye and Origami, in addition to a special anniversary pint, will be released throughout the afternoon. Local artists Lindsay Nehls and Matthew Dayler created the art for Birdseye and Origami, respectively. Guests will have the opportunity to enter into raffles with brewery-themed prizes throughout the day.
Three Fest will begin at 11AM with a special DJ Brunch featuring a new brunch menu from CHX, a connected fried chicken restaurant. The afternoon will feature family-friendly hours with face painting alongside the scheduled live art. The final evening celebration will include a DJ and dance party. A full lineup of guest beers on tap and live artists scheduled will be updated at 3pointsbeer.com/threefest, as well as the official Facebook event.
