It was a great day at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on Thursday night as fans of the legendary rock band Kiss gathered to see their performance. The fans were filled with excitement as they entered the event. Many were dressed in there favorite Kiss apparel, t-shirts, and makeup and from the detail and effort, you could tell they had been fans for years. They wanted to see one more time Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer to take the stage.
The band dazzled the audience all night with cutting edge instrumentation, a spellbinding light show, and pyromania antics. They performed many of fans favorites songs such as Uh-All Night, Heaven on Fire, Shout It Out Loud and War Machine. Additionally, they had a drum solo that captivated the crowd. Thought-out the show fans had arms raised in the air, clapping hands and gyrating back and forth to the sound of the music.
Kiss is not just your average band; they are world-renowned having entertained audiences for over 45 years. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are the only ones of the original group as it transitioned over the years. However, during that time they have earned 14 Platinum Albums, 30 Gold Albums and received VH1’s acknowledgment of one the 100 Greatest Hard Rock bands of all time.
It was a memorable performance and one that salutes the band for outstanding dedication to their art form.
