Imagine Dragons leading the Way Forward!

Imagine Dragons is one of the most influential bands of the last decade. The band, which started in Las Vegas, NV, consists of four members Dan Reynolds, the lead vocalist, lead guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman on drums.

They were inspired by several legendary groups such as Nirvana, the Muse, Linkin Park, Coldplay, U2, The Beatles, and Paul Simon. Nevertheless, the bands’ style and genre are unique with aspects of Indie Rock, Pop, Electric, Alternative, Folk, Soul and Hip-hop.

They have had several chart-busting albums. In 2012 their first album was Night Visions had hit songs Radioactive and Demons. Radioactive remained on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013 more than any other piece by any other band that year. This distinction got them named the Breakthrough Band of 2013 by Billboard Magazine. Their success with that album was quickly following with another chart-topping album in 2015 with Smoke + Mirrors, with hit songs I Bet My Life, Gold, Shots. This album reached number one in United States, Canada, and the UK. This success resulted in a world tour lasting for several months. However, they were back in the studios in 2017 with Evolve, their third major release. This album had three hit singles, which included Thunder, Believer, and, Whatever it takes. Imagine Dragons was award by Billboard Magazine with the honor of the Biggest performer of 2017. Imagine Dragons leveraged this success with another world tour from 2017 to 2018 with venues in 33 countries. In 2018 MTV, awarded, Whatever it takes was award the best video of the year. In 2018 the Origin album was release with record-breaking hit songs of Natural and Zero.

The Awards they have earned to date include three American Music Awards, 9 Billboard music awards, and a Grammy. Additionally, in 2018 Spotify named them the most-ever streamed group with Believer, and Thunder has totaled over 1 billion streams. They to date have sold over 35 million singles and 20 million albums.

The band has also used that influence to aid in various goodwill causes such as Tyler Robinson charity to benefit young people battling cancer, the Do the Write Thing Campaign: To Stop the Violence and heighten awareness of violence in our schools and communities, as well as the Playing it Forward to keep music programs vibrant in our schools.
